I remember seeing photos of dog-collar matches in magazines like Pro Wrestling Illustrated back in the 1970s-1980s. Those matches looked so brutal and savage; one or both of the wrestlers involved would usually end up bloodied by the middle of the bout. Keeping the tradition alive (
sans the blood) are two big independent wrestlers -- Kevin Matthews and Arkim. In this March 22 match for Pro Wrestling Syndicate, both men battle in and out of the ring. In the end, Matthews took the win. (Photos by Scott Finkelstein)
