Meet Robo, The Punjabi Lion. As his nickname implies, Robo (real name Harpreet Singh) is from Chandigarh, Punjab. He was a state-level soccer player who became a competitive bodybuilder in 2011, the year he won his first championship. When Robo moved from India to the USA, he attended the University of Iowa where he was a member of the cricket team from 2013-2014. He then trained to be a professional wrestler at the New England Pro Wrestling Academy in Massachusetts. Rob made his in-ring debut in a Battle Royal for Chaotic Wrestling in September of 2016. He has since wrestled for two other independent promotions, namely Northeast Championship Wrestling and Lucky Pro Wrestling. See more of him on his YouTube Channel by clicking here.

A Message From Marshall Davids
If you've been wondering where Australian wrestler Marshall Davids has been, wonder no more. The Perth-based wrestler and personal trainer wrote us to say he will be returning to wrestling with a new federation (it's Southern Hemisphere Wrestling Alliance). In fact, it was last night when he made his SHWA debut winning his match against Ebenizah J. Klaus (not sure though if he's now using his real name, David Marshall, but I'll update this post once I have confirmation on that). Davids apologises for the delay in his return, but we've at least been able to keep up with him via his Instagram account. Stay tuned for more details.
Looks like Davids will go up against SHWA's Odin soon. |

Stone Faced Lumberjack
Where's the beef? In Nova Scotia, Canada, that's where. It's where independent wrestler Riddick Stone is from. Stone turned pro 10 years ago and has been featured on the rosters of almost a dozen promotions since then (Ultimate Championship Wrestling, East Coast Pro Wrestling, NewBreed Wrestling, to name a few). This 6'3", 273 lb. has a day job working at a lumber company, so I'd venture to say he's a modern day lumberjack. With chains. Lots of them. Oh, and what I find amusing is that this big, tough guy loves cats (he's poppa to a few felines). Watch him wrestle another big guy, Brody Steele, in this match. Here's another match featuring Stone and opponent Kevin Aube. (The last time I featured Stone was in 2012 and 2013. Revisit those earlier posts here and here.)

Aldis Time
Remember one-time TNA Impact Heavyweight Champion Magnus? The 31 year old British wrestler is now on the roster of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) where he now goes by his real name, Nick Aldis. Yesterday, the NWA YouTube Channel uploaded Aldis's championship title bout against Crimson held on March 10th in Clarksville, Tennessee. You can watch that match here. You might also want to watch Aldis defend his belt against David Starr in this match held on Feb. 11th in the U.K.
