It's been a while since I made a post about American independent wrestler Joe Coleman. To he honest, I thought he had retired from pro wrestling, but maybe it was just the pandemic's effect on live events that made me think that. Coleman calls himself "Thunderlats" because of his massive lats (latissmus dorsi), the pair of large, triangular, or V-shaped muscles on either side of the spine.

Deep Purple
Thanks to blog reader Chase for bringing my attention to American independent wrestler Matt Brannigan. Brannigan (6'0", 207 lbs/ 183cm, 94 kg) made his in-ring debut in 2012 and has appeared on the roster of many promotions among them Rockstar Pro Wrestling, EMERGE Wrestling, and most recently, All Elite Wrestling (AEW). One of Brannigan's signature moves is the "Purple Nurple," which, if you're unfamiliar with the term, is defined as "the act of taking a person's nipple between the thumb and forefinger and then twisting it around roughly." The match pics below (pics 2-8) were all taken by Chase in 2021 at an Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Thanks for the action pics, Chase!

Old School Beefcake: Billy Jack Haynes
Here are screenshots of Billy Jack Haynes in this 1985 match against Gerald Finley. If you like bearhugs, there's a long one that starts at around the 0:35 mark.
