American wrestler Uhaa Nation (real name Sesugh Uhaa) made his professional debut at the age of 22 in 2009. The 6 foot tall, 240 pound strongman from Sacramento, California has also wrestled in Japan and has held several championship titles (Dragon Gate USA, Great Championship Wrestling, Full Impact Pro). You can read more about him here. Oh, and if you're wondering how he got his name, it was given by his coach in high school who during weight-training, noted that "he's as strong as a single nation."

Throwback Thursday : Johnny Curtis vs Mason Ryan
My good friend Jim from Chicago, a longtime contributor to this blog, emailed me additional photos he took of a match between Johnny Curtis (aka WWE's Fandango) and Mason Ryan (formerly known as Barri Griffths) that took place on Oct. 14, 2010. This was during the time NXT, WWE's developmental territory, was still known as Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). Jim refers to these photos as the "B-side" of the first set of photos; you can see the first set here. Thanks, Jim! (Up next from Jim, pics of Davey Richards's last match in Chicago before joining TNA. Watch out for it!)
