I'm going to try something different this week. I've been featuring a few millennial wrestlers in this blog and seeing as these are the men who have the potential to be tomorrow's superstars of wrestling, I thought why not devote a whole week to them? Millennials are defined by authors Neil Howe and William Strauss in their 1991 book "The History of America's Future : 1584-2069" as individuals born between 1982 and 2004. You can read more about them here. Kicking off Millennial Week is former teen bodybuilder Austin Theory. Watch him in action in this match posted two weeks ago by clicking here.
Excellent idea, Bruno. Thanks. Theory is possessed of a mighty long index finger! TT
ReplyDeleteTheory has been improving his look since he first appeared here. Hair is way better, and nice tights (he has his own clothing line), although briefs would be way better. Lots of his matches on the Youtube channel you posted, and he is starting to appear in other promotions, so I think we can look forwatd to seeing a lot more of him. Anon.
ReplyDeleteI agree; at his best, he is stunningly handsome. That man-bun (or mun) was a ghastly mistake. Ditto the goatee beard. And he would look much better in trunks; the briefer, the better. As he is a former bodybuilder who would have posed in minute briefs, he cannot be too self-conscious about baring his body!
DeleteMy fantasy: a teen competitive bodybuilder applying his muscular strength and athleticism in the ring. Wow.
ReplyDeleteTheory is now a heel and doing a great job. He excels in many areas of the sport and continues to shine. He needs to be a bit meaner, more arrogant and showcase his strength. Pile drive and pull up your opponents would add more to the match.
