Making his first appearance here on Beefcakes of Wrestling is independent American wrestler Douglas James. James has wrestled for various promotions (Santino Bros., SoCal Pro) and is currently PCW's Light Heavyweight Champion, a title he's held since June 2017. On March 16th, James will defend his title against Irish wrestler Jordan Devlin (making his American debut) in "Tuff Luck." If you're in the Wilmington, California area, you might want to watch this match; go to pcwultra.com for information. In the meantime, you can watch him battle Jake Atlas here (2016). Jake who? That's Jake Atlas, also making his first appearance on this blog. Scroll down after Douglas' photos to read about this exciting young wrestler.
Another lean, mean fighting machine making his debut here is Jake Atlas. Like Douglas James, Jake is from California and has also appeared in matches for promotions such as Santino Bros. and PCW. In fact, he, Douglas James, and another wrestler by the name of Brody King all started out at around the same time (mid 2015). The 23 year old who is Southern California's Rookie of the Year for 2017 also made headlines last month by coming out publicly as gay. Read about it here and here. Jake also talks about coming out and his career in pro wrestling in this episode of The Heel Section podcast.
Douglas James is yum. That pic of him jumping with legs side split in the air is great
