Too bad Kyle Rasmussen, renamed Conrad Tanner, was with WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling for only one year (2009-2010). I would have liked to see more matches of this 6'5', 305-pound former football player had he continued as a wrestler. Now 37 years old, Rasmussen is a successful personal trainer/entrepreneur.
And here are some recent pics of Rasmussen from Instagram.
I loved his match against Big E Langston. There's a small part in the match when Big E pummels Conrad's sexy chest with some powerful punches. I used to rewatch that scene over and over again.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it's a real shame. Especially since the recent Images show his appearance is even more suited to the ring. I could envision the helmet as part of a new gimmick.
ReplyDeleteHe's not just ripped, he's shredded"
I just browsed his Instagram account. Since you cite it as a source of the last Images, I'm sure you seen all that have. While I couldn't save anything to my Photo Library, I did Copy and Paste eight astounding Images to my Notes. You could publish a Post with his Spartan Images alone (he's a fan). See the third from the end Image. And the two with a skull and skeletal hands is rad, too.
ReplyDeleteThe Spartan connection is that he played football for the Michigan State University Spartans. That may translate into being a fan of "300."
DeleteWWE paired him with bodybuilder Aaron Reed (who they renamed "Lift Sawyer"!), and the two got about as far as tag team King Konstantine and Tom Kingdom. Reed claims to be the world's tallest bodybuilder. Have never seen him wrestle, but he does take acting jobs, this one in the Indian costume series, "Porus."

Oops, it is Tom Kingdon.
DeleteWhat a dreambot
ReplyDeleteIs that anything like a nanobot?
