Remember former WWE wrestler Romeo Roselli? He was best known as one half of The Heart Throbs tag team on RAW with Antonio Thomas (circa 2004-2006). Before that, Roselli was called Johnny Heartbreaker on the notorious Junior Pro Wrestling Association (JPWA) video-based promotion (1998-2000). He also wrestled for BG East under the name Johnny Romano. The first independent promotion Roselli appeared in was New Era Pro Wrestling in 2002. It was while he was with NEPW that Roselli formed a tag team with Antonio Thomas called The Heart Breakers. After his stint with WWE, Roselli returned to the independent circuit and wrestled for several promotions, among them Full Impact Pro, One Pro Wrestling, Top Rope Promotions, and Total Non-Stop Action (TNA). Roselli is also an actor having made brief appearances on many films and TV series (Gotham, The Deuce, Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler, Baby Mama, to name a few). Now 40 years old, Roselli operates his own health and fitness company. Check out his
official website.

Glad to see he's doing well. I don't know whether this is included on the list of promotions for which he worked, but I recall him wrestling for a promotion in Italy, and he was champion for a time. Anon.

ReplyDeleteThank you for featuring Romeo. I've been a big fan of his since he was a teenager in JPWA. He's always had a fantastic body, a magnetic smile and a great persona. Still looking great at 40. Terrific pics. Thanks again.
