Longtime contributor and good friend of the blog David emailed me this set of photos he took of a match between Jora Johl and Landon Hale. David also came up with the title of this post; Johl is/was a competitive bodybuilder and Landon is a certified doctor of chiropractic. The match was held in New England by independent promotion Atlantic Pro Wrestling. Thanks for the pics, David! Oh, and if Johl looks familiar to you, it's because he used to wrestle as Robo.
Hey, Bruno. Check your copy: you refer to Johjl's opponent as Landon Hale but then, later, as Lane. I'm guessing the first is right, as that is also the link. But it's a little confusing. (But maybe because it's 6:30 a.m.!)
ReplyDeleteWhat's more impressive about Johl is that he has a master's degree and teaches/works at MIT when he isn't wrestling, so his match with Hale may be one of the most "degreed" pro wrestling matches ever to appear here!
ReplyDeleteLandon Hale's gear could use an overhaul. It seems very 1980s and doesn't do his appearance/physique justice. Anon.
Im a truly objectifier person: what a piece of ass!
ReplyDeleteOddly enough, I just met Landon Hale a few days ago. Really nice guy.
ReplyDeleteCool! That's how he comes off. Anon.
