My good friend David (he's also one of this blog's regular contributors) emailed me a set of photos he recently took of a Florida-based wrestler called Hercules Gomez. If you like your wrestlers on the thicker, beefier side, then Hercules is your man. Thanks for these pics, David. I can't wait to see what you'll have for us next.

Bazooka Time
It's been a while since I posted anything on indie wrestler Bazooka Joe (sometimes called BJ Hard Candy). But then I recently came across a video on YouTube of this beefcake on the receiving end of not one, not two, but three beatdowns and so I thought it's time he gets featured again. Below are some posed shots of Joe and screen caps from said video which you can watch here.

New Beefcake Mike Verna
Thanks to one of this blog's readers for bringing my attention to East Coast-based independent wrestler Mike "Man of Steel" Verna. I haven't been able to find his stats (age, height, weight), so if anyone can help me out here, please do so. See "The Man of Steel" in action against another beefcake wrestler, Sam Shields, here.

WWE Launches Its Own Network
You may have heard that WWE is launching its own network on Feb. 24. That's right; there's going to be a whole network devoted to airing nothing but professional wrestling 24/7. The subscription-based video streaming service will be offered online for desktops and laptops and not through cable. It will also be available through the WWE App on devices such as Kindle, Apple TV, Android, and iOs. Aside from airing their Smack Down, RAW, and their Pay-Per-View events, the network will have shows like Wrestlemania Rewind, The Monday Night War, and a reality series called "WWE Legends' House" among others. Read all the details here. Below are some images from last week's Smack Down and RAW shows.
