Flashback Friday : Latin Lover

Valentine's Day is just around the corner so let's check out a wrestler who captures the spirit of Valentine's -- Latin Lover. Born Victor Manuel Resendiz Ruiz, this Mexican wrestler retired from the Squared Circle in 2006 and joined show business as an actor and dancer. Read more about him here.

With one-time tag team partner Hector Garza

Latin Lover and Hector Garza also engaged in a bitter feud

Here's a little bit of trivia. As a voice actor, I dubbed Ruiz's voice for the English version of the Mexican telenovela La Tempestad which starred Latin heartthrob William Levy.

Lovers' Day

Because it's Valentine's Day, here's a bunch of file photos of Mexican luchador Latin Lover. When last I checked, he's been busy trying to get his acting career off the ground and is one of the featured performers in an all-male burlesque show. Happy Valentine's Day!
