Jolly Rogers

David, one of this blog's regular contributors, emailed me these pics he took last October of FCW/WWE NXT's Nick Rogers. I went to the NXT roster page to take a look at Roger's stats,  but he's no longer included in the line-up. Has he been dropped already? Anyway, Rogers' opponent here is Briley Pierce (aka Ryan Nemeth) who happens to be Dolph Ziggler's brother (aka Nick Nemeth). Thanks for these great pics, David!

New Year, New Beefcake

Florida Championship Wrestling's Nick Rogers is someone to watch in 2012. At 6 ft. 1 in. and 217 pounds, Rogers claims to have only 4% bodyfat (yeah, I can believe that). Before joining FCW, Rogers wrestled as "The Mayor" Austin Spencer (his real name?) in Vancouver, Canada.  To me, Rogers has the look of a pro wrestler from the 1950s-1960s; even the graphic design on the backside of his ring gear looks retro. Oh, and you know what else is unusual about him? He doesn't have a fully-formed bellybutton.  Watch him as Austin Spencer going up against Canadian hunk Randy Tyler on the Beefcakes of Wrestling channel on YouTube.
