We're 9 Years Old Today!

Can you believe it? Beefcakes of Wrestling turns nine years old today. How time flies! To celebrate, here's a look back at some of the beefcakes featured on the month this blog came into being. You may not know this, but I've always envisioned BCoW to be a "visual" blog, i.e., to have more images than words; that's why I keep the intros as short as possible (sometimes, eschewing them altogether). Another thing I like to do is to feature beefcake wrestlers from around the world -- England, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Japan, Singapore, India, Nepal, South Africa, Hungary, Mexico, China, The Netherlands, and so on. I hope I've achieved my objectives. Thanks for following my little blog!

It's Been Five Years Already?

February 14 marks the 5th anniversary of Beefcakes of Wrestling. Five years ago, I started this "blog" with just one picture, a photo I found of Anthony Bravado. It's been a lot of fun working on this blog and what makes it so worthwhile is receiving email (brunomartin62@gmail.com) and messages from people who enjoy what we do here. Daniel Rodimer vs Tommy Suede

It was about a year ago that I posted my first Daniel Rodimer feature. Several months later, contributor Jim from Chicago emailed me a set of Rodimer match photos. But after that, I couldn't find anything else on this 6 ft. 9. in., 295 pound heel who used to wrestle for Deep South Wrestling (he seems to have disappeared from the face of pro wrestling)...until yesterday. Here are screencaps from an older match between Rodimer and fan favorite Tommy Suede. You can watch the entire match -- and these wrestlers' need for an acting coach -- here.
