Joey Ryan gets pinned. (More pics from this match coming soon.)

Mystery Meat

Can someone please identify this British wrestler? We need to see more of him here on Beefcakes of Wrestling. These pics were taken at a recent six-man match.  (Photos by Tony Knox)

He reminds me of Ryan Kwanten from "True Blood."

Throwback Thursday : Jayson Quick

A good friend of this blog and regular contributor, Jim from Chicago, emailed these photos he took of Jayson Quick back in May 2, 2008 in Joliet, Illinois. Jayson won this Five Way Dance match besting opponents Dingo, Brodie Lee, Cheech, and Cloudy. Too bad Jayson left the wrestling scene so soon; he could have been a contender! Thanks for these great pics, Jim! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next.

Strong Medicine

Roderick Strong took home another win when he appeared in Ring Of Honor's "Death Before Dishonor XI" show held last September 20th in Philadelphia, PA. His shorter, but stockier opponent in this match is Ricky Marvin. Later in the show, Strong was joined by his friends (and former nemeses) Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards when he confronted one of the wrestlers in that night's card. I smell a feud brewing. Matt Striker vs Caleb Konley

Two beefcakes squared off each against each other in PXW's "Funny Draws Money" show held last September 9th; indie wrestler Caleb Konley faced former WWE superstar Matt Striker. From these pictures, it looks like Striker was in control most of the time, but in the end, it was Konley who won. Maybe Striker could have taken this match if he didn't wear those awful baggy shorts. (Photos by Triple Threat Photography)
