Beefcakes of Lucha: Soberano Jr.

Here's Mexican luchador Soberano Jr. Watch him in action here.

Old School Beefcake: Raymond Rougeau

Of all the Rogueaus who've ever stepped into a ring, Raymond is my favorite. His father, Jacques, Sr., and his uncle Johnny were also professional wrestlers in Canada in the 1950s. Raymond made his in-ring debut at the very young age of sixteen! He is probably best known for his time in World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) in the latter half of the 1980s alongside his brother Jacques Jr. as the tag team The Fabulous Rougeaus. In the early 1990s, he worked as an interviewer and presenter for the same promotion. Now 68 years old, Raymond has been the mayor of Rawdon, Quebec since 2021. Read more about him here.

Chase Your Dreams

This is American independent wrestler Chase Emery's first feature on BCoW. From what I've seen on the internet, Emery looks like he made his in-ring debut in 2020. Prior to that, he was a champion collegiate wrestler. Watch his manager G. Frederik Vanderford hype him up in this short clip.  Watch more of Emery on his YouTube Channel.

Sharp As A Blade

Here are more pics of All Elite Wrestling's The Blade (fka Pepper Parks). In case you didn't know, The Blade hosts a movie podcast called "A Slice of Cinema" wherein he talks about horror, sci-fi, and action movies like Robocop 2, The Running Man, Child's Play 2, From Dusk Til Dawn, and more.

Eddy, Set, Go!

American wrestler Karl Fredericks has been featured dozens of times on this blog, but starting today, you won't see any more posts featuring Karl Fredericks. That's because Fredericks now goes by the name Eddy Thorpe. The 32 year old from Reno, Nevada made his WWE NXT debut as Thorpe on March 28th. You can read more about him here.
