Atlas vs. Lewin, January 1980

I came across this match between Tony Atlas and the fearsome Maniac Mark Lewin on YouTube last week. It's from 1980 which would mean Lewin, born in 1937, was 43 years old at the time, while bodybuilder Atlas was only 26. This was the period when Lewin looked amazing (especially for a man his age), but his style of wrestling was mostly limited to karate chops and underhanded moves. Watch the match here.

Muscle Monday: Zeus

Japanese bodybuilder/wrestler is looking a little leaner these days, but he's still pretty muscular and big. It's hard keeping up with his hair color; he's gone from orange to black to bright yellow to who knows what's next?

Flashback Friday: Jaxxon Dane

Back in 2010, I came across pics of an independent American wrestler I couldn't identify. Eventually, I learned that his name was Jaxxon Dane and he was on the roster of the CWF and Slamfest Wrestling promotions. There wasn't a lot on him back then; the few pics I found were on the Slamfest website and it seemed like Dane made only a few appearances in the short time he was there. The 10 images below are almost everything I posted on Jaxxon Dane and I always thought it was a shame he wasn't more active on social media.
