MMA (mixd martial arts) fans will remember Ken Shamrock for his time with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Pride Fighting Championships while wrestling fans will remember him from his time with World Wrestling Federation, as they were called then, and other promotions. It is interesting to note that Shamrock went from pro wrestling to MMA, rather than the other way around (which generally doesn't turn out too well). He had already built the great physique. The earliest match video I found after a cursory search was from April 1991, over a year before he started in MMA, but according to the article there should be matches back to 1989:
