Tattoos and 'Tude
I'm not a big fan of wrestlers who are covered in tattoos, but I don't mind them on NXT bad boy Corey Graves (real name Matt Polinsky, 6 ft. 1 in., 208 pounds). The 30 year old Graves made his WWE/NXT debut in 2006. Here's a little known fact about Graves: he's a professional piercer. Apparently, he trained as an apprentice at the request of a friend who needed a piercer in his tattoo parlor. Graves got the sleeve tattoos on his arms after he turned 18. He also has tattoos on his neck and the words "Stay Down" are inked on his knuckles. What do you think of Grave's tattoos?

As far as tats go, I'm a it all depends guy.
ReplyDeleteI'd say that Graves has it just right at this point. The possible problem is if he continues it might end up being too much. I've seen it happen with others.
I'd advise him to consider very carefully before he adds more. From now on its a matter of maintaining a balance.
Well, I suppose I'm way out in Left Field ...
ReplyDeleteI don't like tattoos. I am repulsed and nauseous when I see perfectly attractive men with entire body parts covered with ink.
I know ... that makes ME the strange one.
At the moment I think he's Hot, but as Almatolmen says, sufficient unto the day.
ReplyDeleteI am not nauseated by tattoos, but I agree with anon. that attractive people are marred by too much ink. Wish the jewelry rule could apply: put it on and then remove one piece.
ReplyDeleteAnon 1, I agree that too much ink is a turn-off. But a Graves hasn't gotten there yet. The most problematic places are the torso and face. His most covered area are the arms, but he has good color and design, so not a big distraction from their excellence.
ReplyDeleteCM Punk is someone I think has gone too far. Earlier, he had a decent balance.
ReplyDeleteTattoos are graffiti in my opinion - vandalising a perfectly good piece of work is criminal
