From The Vault: Eddie Atlas

I dug into the deep, dark vault of this blog and thought it might be nice to revisit American independent wrestler Eddie Atlas. Atlas, a native of Austin, Texas, also went by the monikers Eddie Craven and Eddie Kraven. He mad his in-ring debit in 2001 and appears to have retired from professional wrestling in 2010. He wrestled for about a dozen promotions, most notably Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). Watch a "cheeky" compilation of some his matches here.

From The Archives: Eddie Atlas

American wrestler Eddie Atlas (also called Eddie Craven) had an in-ring career that started in 1998 and lasted around 12 years. He wrestled for about 12 promotions, among them Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), and even World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). There seems to be no record of any matches he wrestled in after 2010.

We're 9 Years Old Today!

Can you believe it? Beefcakes of Wrestling turns nine years old today. How time flies! To celebrate, here's a look back at some of the beefcakes featured on the month this blog came into being. You may not know this, but I've always envisioned BCoW to be a "visual" blog, i.e., to have more images than words; that's why I keep the intros as short as possible (sometimes, eschewing them altogether). Another thing I like to do is to feature beefcake wrestlers from around the world -- England, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Japan, Singapore, India, Nepal, South Africa, Hungary, Mexico, China, The Netherlands, and so on. I hope I've achieved my objectives. Thanks for following my little blog!

It's Been Five Years Already?

February 14 marks the 5th anniversary of Beefcakes of Wrestling. Five years ago, I started this "blog" with just one picture, a photo I found of Anthony Bravado. It's been a lot of fun working on this blog and what makes it so worthwhile is receiving email (brunomartin62@gmail.com) and messages from people who enjoy what we do here. To commemorate our 5th Anniversary, here are some images that were posted in the first month of this blog five years ago. Some of these wrestlers have retired, some are still active.
