Thor's Day

It's Thursday, or in Old English, Thor's Day, named after the Norse god of thunder. Today, we've got a new Thor for all you aficionados of wrestling beefcake. Meet Thor Donninger, an Austrian who is one of the wrestlers on the international roster of World Underground Wrestling (WUW), a promotion out of Austria that has held matches in Europe and Asia. I've seen a few matches of WUW on YouTube and some of them don't even take place in a ring; some are held on a stage and others in a makeshift space with chains instead of ropes. They usually wrestle in front of a small number of people; some of the venues are bars or rooms with the audience sitting very close to the action.
