Our Antaios is not from Greece, though. He's a former Royal Marines commando from England who's not just a wrestler, but a successful entrepreneur, too. Antaios has been wrestling with Lucha Britannia, which is part-cabaret, part-wrestling promotion (strictly for adults, I might add) for about 3 years now. One of the most amazing things about this man is that he's had open heart surgery not just once, but twice. Did that stop him from working out and wrestling? Nope. The guy is an inspiration to us all. Here's Antaios in a clip from a match circa 2013.
Follow him on Instagram. |
Modeling an Exploit Potential shirt, a company he is co-owner of. EP is an online store selling exclusively designed active wear for men and women. Check it out (and maybe buy something) here. |
With his pal Marshall Arkey, whom I was hoping was also a wrestler, but is actually a London-based model, dancer, and cabaret performer. Check out his Twitter account here. |
Another shirtless pic with buddy Marshall Arkley. I really wish Arkley was a wrestler, too. |
After his recent open-heart surgery (his second one, in fact). |
Amazing job on the research of the Greek mythology of Antaios, Bruno! His story sounds really familiar. I'm curious he one of Hercules's 12 feats. I loved Greek mythology growing up.
ReplyDeleteI admit when I first saw pics of this guy, I glossed over him. Sure he had the face and the body, but there was no spark.
However the variety of pics has won me over. I can tell you the exact moment and thoughts I had when I felt something. On pic 7/14, I thought "ooh, he makes a good Clark Kent." On pic 8/14, I realized I never had a chance.
The Poseidon getup didn't work for me at first, but now I get it, and what an amazing job he's done with it, all the way down to fishscale tights!
Pic 9/14 & 13/14 remind me of Mint Mike Mitchell. Anyone else?
That's so interesting Lucha Brittania is part-cabaret, part-wrestling. This must be related to the Neon Moon Burlesque and Cabaret Club? There is hope yet maybe in identifying this hot dominator!:

Wow, two open-heart surgeries? What's happened to this poor baby?
thw Neon Moon ngith looks amazing...but is quite different. Lucha is more wrestling biased, with a flavour of cabaret thrown in for an epic evening - truly one of my favourite nights out in London!
DeleteHeart defect.
ReplyDeleteHope you're right, Bruno. I had given up on him returning to the ring.
I thought the fish-scsle tights went rather nicely with his colorful tattoos, btw. Anon.
That second photo looks like a blue-mitred representation of the Most Reverend Nauseus of Chlamydia, the Fourth Century Nestorian Archbishop of a remote province in Northenr Africa. His shepherd's crook looks a bit intimidating. He was martyred by the Emperor Constantine, so in the end the three-pronged rod of office did him no good.
ReplyDeleteFantastic body...and ring gear, too. Now to see him lifted up and bearhugged...
