Hey, Good Buddy
I can't believe it took me this long to feature Buddy Murphy in a post. The 5'11", 203 pounder from Melbourne, Australia can be seen on WWE where he's part of their cruiserweight-exclusive brand 205 Live. Prior to joining WWE, Murphy wrestled as Matt Silva for Professional Championship Wrestling (PCW) wherein he made his debut back in 2007. He was also Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW) heavyweight champion back in 2012, a title he held for 293 days. Murphy was signed to WWE's NXT in 2013 wherein he competed in a tag team with different partners. Early last year, the 30-year-old wrestler lost about 25 pounds and asked to be included in the 205 Live brand. He is currently the Cruiserweight Champion after defeating then-title-holder Cedric Alexander last October 6th. On Januar 27, Murphy will defend his title in a fatal four-way match against Kalisto, Hideo Itami, and Akira Tozawa.
