Clark Connors Goes To Japan

It's been a while since I posted anything new on American wrestler Clark Connors. I though that  perhaps he wasn't wrestling anymore; his social media accounts seem to have been deleted (or he made them private) and I couldn't find any information about him in North America. Turns out Connors started wrestling for New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) early this year and is probably still wrestling in Japan as of November 2019. You can read his NJPW profile here. Connors also competes in tag team matches there with either Karl Fredericks or Alex Coughlin as a partner. You have to subscribe to NJPW's streaming service to see Connors in action; if you don't want to do that, you could always watch some of his 2017 and 2018 matches on YouTube, like this 2017 one against a then 19-year-old Jayce D'Arcy. After doing some research, I now have enough material for two more Clark Connors posts. Stay tuned for those!

  3. Well, Bruno, you can't be everywhere. Connors (and Coughlin and Fredericks) is part of NJPW's "LA Dojo," part of their expansion into the American market.
There is a multi-part "documentary" about the LA Dojo on New Japan's Youtube page. This is part 4:

They are quite stingy about releasing free matches, although you can find bits and pieces by searching FB videos.

Oddly, on Youtube there are a few people who post WWE2K19-type videos of all these guys that look like real matches until you actually go to the URL. Anon.

  4. This is definitely by far the hottest he's ever been. That first pic ... woof. Getting ripped and having a real man's haircut just made him top tier
