This is English wrestler Anthony Ogogo's first feature here on BCoW. Born in Suffolk, England in 1988, Ogogo is currently signed to American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). In 2012, Ogogo won a bronze medal in the middleweight division as a boxer in The Olympics. He competed as a professional boxer from 2013 to 2016 and transitioned to professional wrestling in 2019. ReplyDeleteBut never fond of the one-punch knockout in pro wrestling, not when it was Ronnie Garvin doing it either. Not to mention the fact that closed-fist strikes are supposed to be illegal, at least in full sight of the referee, and at least Garvin would wrestle a fairly full match before lowering the boom. As a Cole Karter fan, I think Ogogo should have lost that match, but, as long as the fix was in, the two could have played together a bit longer so we could enjoy the view. Anon.
