Crixus is one of the featured luchadores in the popular Mexican promotion Consejo Mundial de Luca Libre (CMLL).

  1. Interestingly (or not), Crixus was an actual person, a leader in the rebel gladiators/slaves in revolt against Rome, ca. 73 BC. Based on the character in the TV show "Spartacus," "Crixus," along with "Krixus," seems to be a very popular name with wrestlers, see, e.g., Crixus in MIW and MWE (meh):

    I think the luchador (and maybe "Krixus") is the hottest of the bunch. Oddly, "Crixus" is supposed to mean "having curly hair," which none of them seem to have. Anon.
