One wrestler I wish I had seen more of in the late 1990s was WWF's Steve Blackman. His televised matches then were few and far between so whenever he was on TV, I became very (ahem) excited. To me, Blackman was a real man's man -- quiet, rugged, deadly.
After a hard-fought match for Ring Of Honor, champion Tyler Black gets attacked by a stripped-to-the-waist Roderick Strong. After the beating, an unfazed Black goes to the locker room and poses with his championship belt. What a pro!
More ROH goodness! Here, Mike Bennett and Roderick Strong (looking leaner and more fit with every match) briefly tangle in what I think was a six-man bout. These two need to have a match of their own. (Up next: Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards)
