Here's a wrestling gimmick I can get behind. At one point in his almost twenty year career, Canadian wrestler Supernatural Nelson Creed brought a book he wrote to his matches; sometimes, he also made his entrance wearing a t-shirt that read "Shut Up and Read." As The Times Colonist said about him in a 2014 write-up, "Creed likes to punish his opponents by reading from his book "What Would Shakespeare Say? (read the article
here)." I think it's nice to see someone promote literacy and Shakespeare, even if it's done in an arrogant and condescending way (Creed also happens to be an English teacher). Creed also wrote a book about his journey in professional wrestling titled "You're Gonna Hurt Yourself". Read a review for this 2106 memoir
here. And find out more about the 6'2", 230 pound 38 year old veteran
