Why Prettyboy Faces Are The Toughest Wrestlers

The title of this post is also the title of a video I came across on YouTube today; it was originally uploaded on October 1st, 2018 by Wrestle Shrine. This video essay lists the reasons why prettyboy faces are not just eye candy in the ring, but embattled, resilient, rugged, and fierce competitors. The second half of the video is a tribute to independent American wrestler Nick Stanley who, according to Wrestle Shrine, is the epitome of the rough and tough prettyboy face.
