From Samuray To Kalisto

Mexican-American wrestler Kalisto has been with WWE for about 7 years now. He started out in NXT in 2013 and was drafted to the SmackDown brand in 2016. He was moved to the RAW brand the next year, but returned to SmackDown in 2019. Prior to WWE, Kalisto was an independent who wrestled under the name Samuray (sic) Del Sol. Today's featured Beefcakes of Wrestling are WWE's Humberto Carillo, Kalisto, and Lince Dorado. Born in Mexico, 23-year-old Carillo is the youngest of the three; he began his in-ring wrestling as Ultimo Ninja when he was only 17 years old. 32-year-old Kalisto, a native of Chicago, Illinois, made his in-ring debut back in 2006. He's been featured on this blog before under the name Samuray Del Sol. Like Kalisto, Lince Dorado is also 32 years old; born in Puerto Rico, he made his pro wrestling debut in 2007.
