From The Archives: Mark Jindrak

Here's a look back at former WWE and WCW (World Championship Wrestling) wrestler Mark Jindrak. Jindrak, now 46, made his in-ring debut with WCW in 1999. He was under contract with WWE from 2001to 2005 and then wrestled in Japan and Mexico from 2006 to 2010. While in Mexico, the former basketball player became a celebrity of sorts; aside from wrestling for Consejo del Mundial Lucha Libre (CMLL) and other Mexican promotions, Jindrak appeared in TV game shows, magazine covers, and events. He's even acted in a couple of telenovelas (soap operas). Now retired from professional wrestling, Jindrak continues to live in Mexico with his wife and son.

We're 9 Years Old Today!

Can you believe it? Beefcakes of Wrestling turns nine years old today. How time flies! To celebrate, here's a look back at some of the beefcakes featured on the month this blog came into being. You may not know this, but I've always envisioned BCoW to be a "visual" blog, i.e., to have more images than words; that's why I keep the intros as short as possible (sometimes, eschewing them altogether). Another thing I like to do is to feature beefcake wrestlers from around the world -- England, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Japan, Singapore, India, Nepal, South Africa, Hungary, Mexico, China, The Netherlands, and so on. I hope I've achieved my objectives. Thanks for following my little blog!

This 'N That

A couple of days ago, I did a "throwback" post on British wrestlers Leon Shah and his sometime tag team partner/nemesis Warren Brady. I know Shah left the wrestling business a few years ago and I thought Brady had done the same thing because he wasn't posting any updates or news of his matches. Turns out I was wrong about Brady because he is still wrestling in the UK; just recently, he won a match against Chris "The Shark" Andrews. Brady is not very active on social media hence the lack of posts on him here on Beefcakes of Wrestling, but here are a few recent pics he uploaded (I'll take what I can get from him).

From his recent match against Chris Andrews.

I didn't want this post to be about only three pics, so here's a bunch of unrelated photos of some of our favorite beefcakes.
