Hungary Can Wrestle

There's a huge pro wrestling fanbase in Hungary and Hungarian Championship Wrestling (HCW which also stands for its slogan: Hungary Can Wrestle) is there to give the fans what they want. The promotion was founded in 2010 and has grown with each passing year. Two of the wrestlers on its roster represent The New Generation that's coming up in the scene. When not competing in Singles matches, Justin Wylde and Boldo Brown also form a tag team called, what else? The New Generation. Watch the agile but cocky Wylde take on Nitro here and another young wrestler named Tihanyi Peter here. And in this match, babyfaced heel Boldo Brown faces Slovakian wrestler Markus Mytra.

More Markus Mytra

The first time I posted a feature on Markus Mytra was on the 29th of March this year and it's high time he had a follow-up post. Here are more pics of "The First Slovakian Pro Wrestler" (as he bills himself). With that thick beard and athletic build of his, Mytra looks like he could play a wildling on Game of Thrones.

Meet Markus Mytra

Here's another wrestler who was brought to my attention by a blog reader who leaves comments signed "Anonymous" (he also introduced me to independent wrestler Evan Grey). Calling himself "The First Slovakian Pro Wrestler," Markus Mytra is from Slovakia, a small country in Europe with a population of not more than 6 million. Myra and his tag team partner in The Spartan Legion are the reigning tag team champions of Hungarian Championship Wrestling (HCW). There are some articles about Mytra, but they're written in what is either Hungarian or Slovakian, so I don't have any additional information to share with you. But you'll be seeing more of Mytra here on Beefcakes of Wrestling in the weeks to come. Stay tuned!
