Cruel Summer

The last (and only) time I featured Hungarian wrestler Steve Summer on Beefcakes of Wrestling was back in 2016. When I was working on the Eddie Rage post last week, I came across a Hungarian phtographer's site which had match pics of Rage and Steve Summer circa 2016. I did a little digging and found Summer's Instagram. Aside from the aforementioned 2016 match pics, I'm including a few more 2016-2017 match pics as well as some more recent images. Mini-Post: Lucha Cosplay With NFL Stars

Okay, they're not real professional wrestlers, but wouldn't it be great if one day they both trade their football gear for some tights and boots? Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman of the National Football League (NFL)'s New England Patriots took a trip to Mexico back in 2017 and stepped into a lucha libre ring for a chance to try some lucha moves. The stunt was part of an NFL documentary about the trip; read more about it here. If Amendola and Edelman ever decide to become professional wrestlers, they'd be joining the likes of former NFL athletes who stepped into the square ring: Roman Reigns, Brian Pillman, Bill Goldberg, Lex Luger, and many others.
