Meet Eric Bugenhagen
Longtime contributor David has another new face for us. David has been taking pictures of NXT newcomer Eric Bugenhagen while he was still working as a ringside aide (picking up the ring gear wrestlers take off before the match). Bugenhagen has since been "promoted" to a wrestler and he's had at least a couple of matches where he gets to be squashed by the more experienced wrestlers. Bugenhagen is a former collegiate wrestler who is now a multi-hyphenate: bodybuilder/strength coach/powerlifter/pro wrestler. I'll be featuring more of Bugenhagen next week, so stay tuned!

He has a serious boy-nextdoor feel to him. Working out in the yard on a hot day, shirtless, sweaty. He desprately needs a pair of trunks, thpugh. The singlet is doing him no favors.
ReplyDeleteI'd settle for a video of him pro wrestling. Unfortunately, since he's at NXT, we won't see him at all for years.
ReplyDeleteGreat series Bruno! Bugenhagen has lots of weight-training vids on Youtube, and was a wrestler at University of Wisconsin. It looks as if he was competing in the US Olympic trials, so there are a bunch of videos of him in amateur competition. Anon.
