Like Father, Like Son

If you were a wrestling fan in the late 1980s-early 1990s, you would certainly have heard of Flyin' Brian Pillman. Pillman is best known as a wrestler for World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), and most famously, World Wrestling Federation (now called WWE). The wrestling world was shocked when in 1997, Pillman died at the young age of 35 due to arteriosclerotic heart disease. He left behind his wife of four years, Melanie, and six children (one of which was adopted and one stepchild).  One of those children was Brian Jr. who is now following in his famous father's footsteps. On December 2017, Brian Jr. made his pro wrestling debut for WCWO Wrestling. You can read more about this 24 year old's debut in this article. You can also watch that match here.  Early last year, a local news program in Cincinnati, Ohio featured him in this two minute segment. Here's hoping we see more of Brian Jr. in the future.

  1. This is heartwarming. That said, they are both very hamdome men.

    1. They may be handsome but I always felt that Brian Pillman had an ugly personality that somehow didn't seem confined to just his wrestling persona. Made him very unattractive imo. His son seems to be more easy-going though. I look forward to seeing more of him.

  2. Mullets are never a good look. The shaggy dark hair was great

    1. I agree. It's easily one of the worse hairstyles ever and no guy, no matter how great-looking, can pull it off.

    2. Yup. Mulletts are just begging for a ring beatdown.

  3. He certainly looks like his father. Handsome with a nice body. I'd like to see him get more aggressive. I much preferred Brian Snr as a heel. He also needs to get different gear. He should go to wear EC3 gets his made.
