Flex Appeal

Longtime contributor and good friend of this blog David traveled to England recently and managed to catch a show in Liverpool featuring Adam "Flex" Maxted on the card.  Here are pics he took of Flex's match. Thanks, David! Hope you're having a great time there!

    David, hope you enjoyed your trip to England. Went there last year myself. You're a very talented photographer and I'm very grateful that you've shared your art with us constantly. I can't imagine what the show must've been like

    Some background for your readers:

    This promotion behind this event is called Fighting Spirit, and it's run by NXTUK's Zack Gibson and James Drake. They also have a training school of the same name. Adam Maxted was originally advertised to face Hugo Knox at this event, but things went mysteriously quiet a few weeks before the show. Nothing's been said officially, but it seems Hugo changed his mind about coming out of retirement. Maxted instead faced Soner Dursun, pictures above bulging wonderfully in his red trunks. A decent swap I'd say, and surely a better match, but just imagine Maxted and Knox in the ring together! :-)
