WWE's NXT franchise has seen scores of wrestlers go from the developmental stage to the big time. But for every wrestler that graduates to RAW or SMACKDOWN, there are many others who don't get signed (like Hugo Knox or Radomir Petkovic). Longtime contributor nd good friend of this blog David dug through his archives and pulled up some pics he took over the years of NXT beefcake. David says that back in the day before NXT matches were televised, the wrestlers would come out in their "independent wrestler" gear and look; no cartoony costumes, no bleached or dyed hair, and no flashy gimmicks. Thanks fro sharing your awesome work with us, David!

I must admit that, for many years, I've found NXT to be far more interesting than the "main" WWE shows, and Deep South and OVW before that. I enjoy the variety of wrestlers, often BoW worthy, and the fact that the muscled-up unknown guys aren't always jobbers. Once you get to Smackdown and Raw, with some exceptions, it is always the same old same old. Anon.
ReplyDeleteSteve Cutler is so hot and handsome when he cleans and trims up. I really hope he keeps it close to this in his next endeavor
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed how Shane's body has varied so much during his time in WWE
