Mike vs. Mike

Here's a late 1990s match between two Mikes from World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Mike Tolbert was on the roster of WCW from 1997 to 1999. As per The Internet Wrestling Database, he wrestled - and lost - all 8 matches in his brief three-year in-ring career. It's too bad we fans didn't get to see more go him. Mike Enos had a longer and more successful in-ring career than Tolbert. Making his pro debut with American Wrestling Association in 1988, Enos wrestled for several promotions from 1990 to 1995 (WCW, New Japan Pro Wrestling, WWE, Pro Wrestling America) before returning to WCW in 1996 until his retirement in 2000. Thanks to fellow pro wrestling blogger Sean Pford for including the video of this match on his YouTube Channel (check it out for loads of great beefcake content).

  1. Enos was a great heel. I’d get hard watching him dominate guys.

  2. He was one of the wrestlers at that time....much like Tom Zenk or Curt Hennig, Brad Armstrong, and others...who projected a strong sexual energy in the ring. Loved watching Mike Enos.

    1. Maybe because they have big bulging sexy muscles and show off to the camera?
