"O" Say Can You See?

Like Anthony Nese, The Big O made an appearance at Pro Wrestling Syndicate's Proving Ground show held on March 15 at Metuchen, New Jersey. But unlike Nese who faced two opponents in two separate matches, The Big O faced two opponents in the same match. Granted, the tag team of Hash Brown and Chris Dixon (aka The Suburban Outfitters) don't look like they presented much of a challenge, and you probably guessed by now that The Big O easily demolished them. Maybe PWS needs to pit The Big O against someone who's just about the same size. Hmmm, can WWE loan out Ryback to them for just one night?

Those trunks can hardly contain him.

This Just In...

On March 20, SSW Entertainment, an independent pro wrestling promotion based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin, announced it has a new champion...Vic "The Icepick" Capri. Hurrah for The Icepick!

One Night, Two Matches

Just the facts, ma'am: Anthony Nese. Two matches in one night. First, against Matt Vides. Then, after pinning Vides, an impromptu match with Pat Buck. Nese won both matches. Hurrah! (These photos were taken by Scott Finkelstein at Pro Wrestling Syndicate's Proving Ground show held on March 15 at Metuchen, New Jersey.)

Pass me the cheese. I found a grater.

Strictly Ballroom

So Fandango was all set to have a match with The Great Khali on WWE Raw, but again, it didn't push through because Khali could not pronounce Fandango's name "properly." Boy, WWE is really building up heat for Fandango. Just look at how elaborate his ring entrance is -- the backdrop, the lights, the female dancer, the costumes. They've really invested a lot of money on Johnny Curtis, I mean Fandango. They must really believe in the potential of this guy. But a proper match is in order already, don't you think? I wonder who he'll actually get to wrestle in his debut. Any predictions, readers?

More Matt Magnum

I found one last batch of indie wrestler Matt Magnum photos in a file folder that I resurrected after my old computer died on me. Yeah, I know he's on the small side, but you have to admit he is good-looking.

Dupree vs Van Dam

Here are some old photos of former WWE superstars Rene Dupree and Rob Van Dam from a match held some years ago. Dupree still looks fighting fit here; I've seen some recent pics of him and he looks disturbingly gaunt.  Too bad.

Who's the hot referee?

Pictures of the Week

At first I thought these photos were of Japanese wrestler Hard Gay, but the real Hard Gay is leaner and less muscular. So who is this guy who's got the same ring gear as Hard Gay (real name Masaki Sumitami)?
