From Suplexes To Shakespeare

After a long absence from this blog, Chris Tyler is back. Apparently, the English wrestler hasn't just been wrestling, he's been acting, too. In May of last year, Tyler was featured in a theatre production of William Shakespeare's Richard II. Maybe he'll do more plays this year, who knows? In the meantime, he's still kicking ass in the ring. Watch him battle beefcake Jake McCluskey in a match posted to YouTube last month here.

  1. As a theatre nerd, that's so cool! Any clue as to to who he played?

I could see him playing the young man who challenged the king's wrestling champion in As You Like It, or the athletic Pettruchio in Taming of the Shrew as portrayed in the commedia dell'arte version, reprising Marc Sanger's characterization.
