Beefcakes of Lucha: Blue Panther Jr.

Here's second generation Mexican luchador Blue Panther Jr. from the Consejo del Mundial Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotion.

  1. Another great set of pics introducing (to me, at least) another wonderful luchador.
I am slightly confused by picture 8, which shows him with an interesting tattoo on his left shoulder and pec. I realize the images could stretch over a few years and can be flipped, but after looking up Blue Panther Jr. I see he now has a different, darker tattoo on his RIGHT shoulder and pec. Wikipedia notes that the original Blue Panther has at least three sons who are luchadors, all using variations of the Panther name and mask. Is it possible that #8 is a brother of Jr.? Anon.

    1. When I first started doing research on him, I wondered about the two different masks/ring gear. I found most of these pics on the Blue Panther Jr. Fans page on Facebook. Maybe his Wikipedia page will help clear the confusion: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Panther_Jr.

  2. Going back to your comment on picture 8, I believe he sometimes uses body paint that plays up the blue in his name. I'm actually more confused about the tattoo on his right shoulder/pec in picture 3. Maybe it's a henna tattoo?

    1. The right-side tattoo doesn't seem to be the right color for henna, and it does appear in a lot of pics. Would be useful if the pictures could be ordered chronologically. From the wiki page on the Panther family, the best explanation I can come up with (IMO) is that it is one of his brothers. Anon.
