Masterpiece Theater

Longtime contributor and good friend of the blog David emailed a bunch of photos he took recently of former WWE Superstar Chris Masters, now 39 years old, at an independent show held early this month in Orlando, Florida. Thanks for these pics, David!

  1. Funny, I was just doing a search for his pre-WWE matches, under his real name, Chris Mordetzky. Before the operations on detached muscles in his chest, his physique, in his early 20s, was truly superb, even though he wore long black tights. I could find next to nothing, just this video. Anyone have any better match links? Anon.

    1. Oh wow, I didn't realize he had such a surgery. Do you know why and when?

Never knew him pre-WWE so that's interesting to see him with a bandana haha

    2. He was in UCW and then in OVW before being called up to WWE.
He had a tear to his pectoral (probably the right one, according to this video that shows a still of him before surgery). There is also speculation that he has had implants, based on the very rounded shape of both his lower breasts. I also think that they seem to "hang" rather unusually. Anon.

  2. Finally got to see that video, thanks! I would say majority of the comments seem to think he's just genetically blessed and that's certainly the case on some level. I would guess he didn't have implants.

Interesting about the pec tear. I've seen some bodybuilders who never got that fixed and sadly the torn pec looks really odd (although their physique is probably one I'd still take even with the tear). I'm curious because I heard you have to get the tear fixed right away or else it'll permanently look odd. So I'm guessing that's what he did. Though I'm curious how long he had that pec tear as you mentioned in that still pic. Maybe there are many ways to fix a pec tear. I mean, his pecs look pretty symmetrical now
