A couple of days ago, I teased a new beefcake wrestler who would be featured here on BCoW. Well, the wait is over. Meet 25-year-old Canadian independent wrestler Brenden Collins, a relatively newcomer (I believe made his in-ring debut last year) to the Canadian wrestling scene. Not much is known about him other than he's also a competitive bodybuilder and he is featured on the roster of Canadian Elite Wrestling (CEW), the independent promotion owned and run by BCoW alum Danny Duggan. Collins' father, Bobby, is a veteran wrestler who is also on the roster of CEW and there have been occasions when father and son have wrestled each other. A blog reader, Musclemanfan_NZ, emailed me about Collins at the same time I saw a thumbnail of him in one of his matches on YouTube. Musclemanfan_NZ provided me with more links to Collins' other matches: Brenden Collins vs Bobby Collins 1, Brenden and Bobby Collins in a tag team match , The Collins Family Tradition in another tag team match, CWE Live in Transcona, and this 50 Man Rumble. I hope we see more of Brenden soon. Looking at his online presence, he seems to be more focused on bodybuilding. Let's wait and see.

Wow he's amazing. I've actually seen him in a video that was farther away but I remember thinking, damn, which there were more closeups of this incredible man.

I was right, I'm kicking myself, since I suggested Brenden to BCoW a couple of times in the past year. His real name is Brenden Cowan, which helps you find his Instagram and other social media. Brenden's father has been grooming him for wrestling since his teen years. See here from 2016:

I was reading that he just earned his IFBB pro card, which suggests he will be wrestling less and less, unless you can do bodybuilding at the pro level and wrestle. Although the two fitness sets overlap, I don't think they overlap enough. Anon.
