Oh, Ethan!

Here are more pics that my good friend Jim took when he attended a TNA Impact show recently (see previous post). This time, Jim pointed his camera at Ethan Carter III (formerly known as Derrick Bateman/Mike Hutter). Check out EC3's ring gear -- real heels aren't afraid to wear bedazzled lavender!

Oh, Magnus!

My good friend and a longtime contributor to this blog, Jim from Chicago, emailed me some photos he took of a TNA Impact show featuring British import Magnus (real name Nick Aldis). The show was held in La Crosse, Wisconsin on May 2nd. Magnus' tag team partner in this match is Ethan Carter III and their opponents are former WWE superstars Kurt Angle (yes, he's still wrestling) and MVP; the team of Angle and MVP won this bout. Coming soon...more pics of this show from Jim. Thanks, Jim! Can't wait to see the next batch!

Taking The Bate

Here's Tyler Bate in a match held last December 2013 for British independent promotion APW. It looks like there was a lot of back-and-forth action between Bate and his opponent, but in the end, it was the blonde heel who won the title belt. (Photos by Tom Lancaster)

What's NXT for Mason Ryan?

Sad news for fans of NXT wrestler Mason Ryan; WWE/NXT has not renewed his contract (same goes for British wrestler Oliver Grey formerly known as Joel Redman).  So what now for the Welsh born giant (real name Barri Griffiths)? Will he continue to stay n in the USA and join an independent promotion or will he return to the UK and be the star he was meant to be? Thanks to my good friend and longtime contributor to this blog David for sharing this piece of news with me. Here are a bunch of photos that David took of Mason over the years. Which look is your favorite?
