Back In Business
Good news for fans of Shane Thorn (aka Shane Haste) and Nick Miller (aka Mikey Nicholls). The Australian tag team are back on NXT. Shane has fully recovered from his injury and he and Nick/Mikey are back in action. They had their first match after a long absence a few days ago and our good friend and longtime contributor David was there to photograph it. Of the two, Shane has gotten more attention over the years on this blog, but I think that Nick/Mikey is starting to come out of his tag team partner's shadow. David says that Nick/Mikey has the most flawless skin and teeth in professional wrestling; I'll take his word for it. Here are some of the pics David took:

I much prefer the earlier pictures of Shane Haste. Leaner, cleaner, and thus more capable of being meaner, he was hotter before the hair and sloppily added weight. But Vince knows best.

ReplyDeleteIf Shane is bulking up and bearding up, will he still serve as the Designated Face-in-Peril? It will be a refreshing twist to see Nick in the role of sufferer, desperate for rescue from his big strong partner... I can't wait to see if this is what they do.
