Five Years Ago This Month (Part 1)

(Note: Beefcakes of Wrestling was created in 2010. To mark its 5th Anniversary, I'll be doing a retrospective of my favorite images from each month.) Although I started this blog in February 2010, it wasn't until May that I started to discover some lesser known ring talent like the five beefcakes who are the subject of this post. I remember being very excited about sharing them with the couple of dozen or so followers of this blog back then. Some of these wrestlers have since retired and moved on to other things, but a couple of them are still active in the ring. Here they are in no particular order. First up, Jon Cutler.

Here's Johnny Prime who later became Lucky Cannon when he signed up with WWE's Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW).

Now here's Jaxon Dane.

Here's Lupe Santiago.

And last but not least, British wrestler Brandon T (aka NXT's Keith Cameron). You can still see Brandon in action on TNT Impact where he wrestles as the long-haired and bearded heel Bram.

To see more on these five, click on their names in the Labels section at the bottom of this post. Next week, Part 2 of "Five Years Ago This Month."

  1. Congratulations on 5 years of wonderful entertainment for us wrestling lovers. I just love this site and visit almost every day. The pics and articles are fantastic. I was and am still a big fan of Jon Cutler. He hardly ever wrestles these days and spends his time body building. There are some great pics of him on his website or follow him on facebook. He still looks as handsome as ever.
Is Johnny Prime/ Lucky Cannon still wrestling?
Hope there's many more years of Beefcakes of Wrestling.
