Of Mexx and Monsters

Here's Austrian wrestler Mexx facing down a huge, fearsome monster-opponent in a match held by the New European Championship Wrestling promotion. The outcome of this bout was not published on the N.E.W. page these pictures came from, but from the looks of it, Mexx took quite a beating. I hope he's still ok. (This post is dedicated to blog follower Eli Jav who put in many hours of hard work cleaning up and editing the Labels column on the lower right-hand side of this page. This "Suffering Mexx" post is for you, Eli! Thanks!)

  1. Wow, thanks so much for this wonderful post! I was recently chatting with heisout about how we haven't seen the hot Austrian muscle man in awhile. He never fails to get me hard though when I come back to him.

I'm truly grateful I can give back to a blog I really enjoy. Really, the thanks is to you Bruno for creating such a amazing blog introducing and showcasing the hot beefcakes wrestling has to offer!

  3. Mexx. I fainted before I could get 1/2-way through this post. I am almost on life support, as I struggle feebly to write this.

EliJay. Second the motion that you be recognized and thanked for your work on the "index." I grew up in NW GA and had occasion a few times a year to visiting Ellijay, in N Central GA. But for one "ell," so everytime I see your contribution I will have fond memories of childhood and young adulthood.

I have a 23-year old friend who is the spitting image of Mexx facially and corporally. He was raised by two, now-married, gay men from the age of 14. I showed him a pic of Mexx, and he was amazed at the resemblance.

    1. Thanks TT! Glad I make happy neurons in your head fire :)

If you have trouble with this post, I can't imagine what it's like for you to meet a real life lookalike young friend

  4. TT, I'd say "ditto," but you already did! :-)
IMO, Mexx has everything exactly right. Not too much or too little in any direction. I assume he is able to support himself by wrestling, but I believe in earlier days he was a policeman in Austria. Imagine getting pulled over by him! Anon.

Don't know how I managed to post twice. Getting older, I guess. Thanks, I deleted the 8:56 and left the 8:57. TT

    2. I can't directly answer this question. All I know is that in his personal FB page as Maximilian Bajlitz, he doesn't include policeman as his profession. The Timeline does mention that in 2012 he had a position as a bouncer for a security firm. He notes various job changes, but doesn't indicate that he left that job. However, the last post is from 1 December 2015.

    3. I just scrolled through his Likes and don't find any connected to police organizations. Often guys will indicate connections to previous employers or professional affiliations. From appearences, he's totally disconnected himself from his former job.

    4. Thanks for the research as always Almatolmen! You are always so thorough and always find interesting facts.

I would love for him to bounce for me haha

It's sad he's wrestling less. Even sadder there have been fewer videos of him posted

    5. Don't know where I got the idea, then. I still reserve the right to fantasize about being pulled over by him, though. Anon.

    6. I, too, recall something about Mexx's being in a police force of some sort or another, and I, also, cannot recall where or in what context I saw it. If he pulled me over & invited me to blow into anything, I would go absolutely crazy. tt

    8. It's interesting two separate people had that impression. A simple English google search doesn't reveal anything police related unfortunately

    9. TT, it was a few years ago for me, I think is was in the city of Graz.
It is certainly possible that he deleted it at the department's demand. Anon.

  5. Love Mexx. I actually did something I rarely do which is purchase one of NEW's full episodes on Vimeo just to see one of his matches with Juvenile X.

Another Juvenile X vs. Mexx match is freely available on NEW's channel and runs 20+ minutes:

I do wish NEW made more of their stuff available for free because I don't want to pay $9.99+ for full episodes (I only want Mexx and sometimes Juvenile X matches--I used to love Adrian Severe but hate the bald look he's had for the past few years).

  6. He's only appeared in four matches this year, the last on 19 March.
