  1. Have never understood the obsession that Latino wrestlers have with wearing masks. If they're so important why doesn't every opponent try to unsettle them by attempting to take the mask off? I thought it was crazy for Rey Mysterio Jr to wear a mask when everyone knew what he looked like because in his early days he never wore one.

    1. Further to Neil on masked wrestlers. I don't watch any of them. So much of the pleasure I derive from indy wrestling comes from the "acting skills" of the wrestlers in general and, in specific, from the emotion conveyed by their facial expressions. With masked wrestlers, I am prevented from sharing in the contestant's triumph, dominance, fear, hesitancy, submissiveness, or pain--oh, yes, pain and suffering. A mask has precisely one facial expression. Whether he is trapped by some brute in a serious submission hold meant to be excruciatingly painful OR whether he is himself mercilessly applying such a hold to some helpless, gorgeous jobber-stud, the "facial expression" on the mask does not change. I want to see what the wrestlers are "feeling." This is not possible with masked wrestlers, so I don't watch them. Nor do I browse their pix. I have no argument with anyone who gets off on masks--or shoes or bare feet or pecs or bulges, bubble butts, Herculean arms, shapely thighs--just deliver me from masks. Deliver me, also, from all save the briefest trunks. Amen. Alleluia!

  2. I have quite a few favorites that wrestle with masks. Samuray del Sol, Super Hentai, Dorian Graves, and The Shard are just so much fun to watch and have fantastic physiques.

    3. I "enjoy" a now not-so-secret passion to see Simon Must's horns ripped off his head and stuffed in the nearest convenient place. TT
