I was wondering what those black things tucked into his trunks were; turns out they're his elbow pads. |

Clean Slate
A very good friend of this blog and one of its contributors, Jim from Chicago, recently went on a trip to Florida and while enjoying the warm weather there, he attended a NXT event which featured a match between Slate Randall (a name only the WWE could come up with) and Mason Ryan. If Slate looks familiar to you, that's because he used to be this guy. Jim says, "it was a pretty even fight throughout, however it was Mason who pulled off the win by pinning his opponent." Thanks for these awesome pics, Jim! (My bad! I misidentified Slate as Ryan Slade, a completely different wrestler, in the original post. Let's just blame my confusion on Mercury in retrograde.)

Great post / pics Jim.
ReplyDeleteI just hope a certain diva doesn't have a meltdown cos there are photos of him on here again!!
Notice how I didn't say his name here, Dr. Fever? :-)
DeleteI thought you meant this Ryan Slade: http://prowrestling.wikia.com/wiki/Ryan_Slade
ReplyDeleteThe names Slate Randall and Ryan Slade and Mason Ryan got me all confused. Sorry about that. I rectified the error.
DeleteWOOF! Vs. WOOF! Two of my favs. YouTube?
ReplyDeleteRyan Slade? Are you sure? Other posts under that name feature a Canadian guy who doesn't resemble the guy in this shoot.
ReplyDeleteI made a mistake, but it's now been corrected. Thanks.
DeleteHis gimmick is now Slate Randall and the match was NXT Sebring on November 16, 2013. Messes up your Mason vs Mason set-up. ;(. Ironically, Mason and Ryan have wrestled.
ReplyDeleteGood to see Mason Ryan pick up a win!
ReplyDeleteNone of the other comment were up when I wrote. I didn't mean to seem to pile it on!
ReplyDeleteIt's cool, Almatolmen. :-)
DeleteWhy are we giving this clown any more free publicity after he so famously dissed this blog and after this blogger so righteously banished him from all mention? Do we have any self respect as a community? Or - are we just all so spineless that we accept insult as a natural course ? Surely there are other, more worthy guys to fawn over.
ReplyDeleteThese pics were taken by my good friend Jim and I wanted to share his work with the readers of this blog. I've never posted anything on S.R. since he sent me that email demanding i remove all pictures of him from this blog. But yes, I see your point. And yes, there are definitely many more worthy wrestlers out there.
