Busy Brian

When he isn't wrestling for Lucha Underground or one of the independent promotions across the USA, you'll find Brian Cage (this week's Muscle Monday Beefcake) wrestling for one of the gay-oriented video companies that sell their matches online (Cameron atthews, BG East). Cage makes yet another appearance for Thunder's Arena in its latest release Ring Wars 19. In this match, the thick bodybuilder goes up against someone named Talon. If you would like to know more about this product, you can check out the match description here.

(Disclaimer: This is not a paid advertisement for Thunder's Arena.)

  1. Love your coverage on these gay private matches where they intersect with real pro wrestling. In general, I find private matches tenfold less exciting, but some of private wrestlers are hot as Talon is. Also, love seeing pros like Cage and Tony Nese get worked over in any setting

  2. In this case, I'd've like to have seen Talon win.

    1. Agree that Talon is the more desirable, espec when held some few seconds in the camel clutch clone chin-lock while his spinal column is undergoing fine-tuning. But rather than have Talon win, I would very much prefer seeing him react to a few over-the-knee back-breakers, a kneeling surf-board or two, a couple of reverse chin- or face-locks, and a full-blown (apologies) camel clutch, etc. Present day Cage is too much Beef and not enough Cake for my tastes--I have a sweet tooth, you see. Talon, on the other hand, is a well-balanced meal--in spite of his silly name.

  3. I agree, though he did get the upperhand in pics 4, 5, and 6

  4. Apparently I've been so far out of the Thunders Arena loop; didn't realize they started doing ring matches. Time to catch up! LOL. This match will be on the shopping list for sure!

  6. Reprise Cage. Maybe I am too hasty when I say too much beef and not enough cake. I think it's the hair & "beard more than the excess of beef and dearth of cake, which nip any incipient tingle in the bud. The oddly trimmed facial hair does me in before I ever get to see the rest of Cage. In his case anything that distracts from his arms and chest and torso needs to go. That includes the "Mohawk," which also is badly named. I think "Mohawk" is a corruption of "Mohican." That coif, anyway, was actually style native to the Pawnees, 1,000 miles or so away from the Mohicans. There is nothing amiss that and hour or so in the chair of Mister George, stereotypical hairdresser to the stars, cannot remedy with the flick of a wrist.

  7. No, I agree too that Cage is being odd about his hair and facial appearance. He's obviously not listening to his gay fans :/

    1. Gay? Who's gay?

Recent rediscovery: 1,000s of fine action, pre-, and post match pix at FB page of Preston City Wrestling. Time spent methodically paging through albums will be well-rewarded, espec. with the help of the PCW results page on Cagematch at http://www.cagematch.net/?id=8&nr=798&page=8.
which enables one to stick a name on almost every beefcake, some of whom are reduced to delicious hamburger.
Lotsa names you will already know. Enjoy.

    2. Thanks for the tip Tom. Hope I remember to do this more later. Only saw some bigger guys (Sha Samuels or David Mastiff?) in the beginning of the FB album.

As for who's gay, except for some straight females, every regular visitor here to this site sure is, whether they know it or not. And for Cage, I bet he has even more gay fans just from doing the gay private matches

    3. Eli Jav, look further, though I agree that PCW has a high overall ratio of Cake to Beef.

As to "gay," my tongue was in my cheek, where I think it belongs.

    4. Tom, thanks for the tip. It really helped for me to look at the Albums to look for only event photos. Lots of pics of the big dirty D getting worked over in all the right places. How far back did you browse? Any notable wrestlers that caught your attention in particular?

I'm sure your tongue has been elsewhere besides your cheek ;)

  8. When I followed Bruno's link I noticed that Talon has quite a few other matches (and seems to be the winner in most, of course, the opponents are not quite the size of Brian Cage).
Agree about the hair. I've marvelled that I am completely turned off to certain wrestlers based on their hair or some other fairly superficial attribute (gear or tattoos). After all, hair can be restyled, OTOH, a good physique takes a lot of effort and time. Nevertheless, there it is. Anon.
