Out And About

Congratulations to American independent wrestler Anthony Bowens (formerly known as Anthony Vigilante) for recently winning the WrestlePro Championship Belt in Brooklyn, New York. Bowens is the first ever two time WrestlePro champion (no small feat). This guy has come a long way and I'm happy to see him getting the accolades he so richly deserves. If you didn't know it yet, Bowens has come out as a bisexual man. He's currently in a relationship with a fitness trainer, a fact he shares with his fans and followers on social media.

Bowens shared this picture on Instagram of him and
his boyfriend on Valentine's Day. His caption: "Who says
you can't pick up guys at the gym?" LOL.

Bowens was voted 2016 Superstar of the Year by WrestlePro fans.
Congratulations!

Another proudly out pro wrestler, and one who appears in televised matches viewed by millions, is WWE's Darren Young. Young's message is "Block The Hate" and because of his courage and talent, he's a huge inspiration to his many, many fans. Wrestling has come a long way and I for one, am glad it has.

Young suffered a bicep/arm injury not too long ago,
but don't worry, he's currently on the mend and
will make a return to WWE soon.
